Wrong Porsche Cayenne attacked in arrest attempt in Moscow

this Techart Cayenne does not belong to the bank robbersThe story behind it is not a nice one: Four guys robbed a bank somewhere in Moscow and killed one of the bank employees. Multiple witnesses saw them getting away in a black Porsche Cayenne with a 177 – 177 license plate. Police deployed a SWAT team a couple kilometers down the always busy Moscow roads ready to ambush the bank robbers.

This is where the video kicks in. A member of the police force films how the SWAT team is waiting for the black Porsche matching the 177 – 177 license plate, when it shows up SWAT quickly attacks the vehicle. A flash bang is deployed to blind and disorient the people inside the car, the tyres are popped and the windows are smashed. Only than they find out this Techart Cayenne does not belong to the bank robbers but to two businessmen who are going into town to have lunch…

Bank robbers CayenneThe Cayenne is taken out of sight and the mistake should be dealt with while the SWAT team again deploys along the side of the road waiting for the right Cayenne. For the second time they attack a black Cayenne matching the description and this time it’s the right one. It shows there’s not to be messed with the SWAT and police teams in Russia. In the end the license plates both shared the 177 – 177 digit combination but had different letters combinations.

Some would say that she is all grown up but judging by her taste in cars, she also knows what is good.

2012 Porsche Boxster S Black Edition

After the recent revealing of the 911 Coupe and Cabriolet Black editions, German automaker Porsche took the wraps off Porsche Boxster S Black Edition, which will be limited to just 987 units worldwide.

As is typical of a Porsche sportscar, at the heart of the Boxster S Black Edition beats a flat-six ‘boxer’ engine. Mounted in front of the rear axle behind the seats, the 3.4-litre six-cylinder engine is similarto that fitted to the Boxster S, with direct fuel injection for greaterpower and efficiency. In the Black Edition its output is 320 hp – 10 hpmore than in the Boxster S. The revised engine reaches its rated power at 7,200 rpm, the Boxster S power pack at 6,400 rpm. Peak torque of 370 Nm – boosted by 10 Newton metres – is available at 4,750 rpm.

This increase in output and power equals more dynamics, and the Boxster S Black Edition underpins its leading position with a superior driving performance. With its standard six–speed manual transmission, itaccelerates from 0-62 mph in 5.2 seconds, a tenth of a second faster than the Boxster S. This extra performance has not been achieved at the expense of fuel economy, however, for the Boxster S Black Edition contents itself with as much fuel as the Boxster S: 28.8 mpg Combined (NEDC).

Exterior highlights of the car include model lettering painted in black on the rear luggage compartment lid and embossed Black Edition model designation on the side of the fabric hood. The black color is also present on the roll-over bars, rear side air intake grilles and the twin tailpipe.

Inside, the car gets the standard, three-spoke Sport Design steering wheel with a black leather rim, the trim strips of the dashboard and of the gear shift lever or PDK selector are painted in black. The dials on the instrument cluster are black, as are the partial leather seats with the Porsche emblem embossed in the headrests.

The Boxster S ‘Black Edition’ goes on sale in the UK and Ireland from March 2011 and is priced from £47,426. In the US, the price starts from $65,200.
